MANUFACTURING

Where are your pieces made?
All of our pieces are made in the United Kingdom, at our studio based in West London, England.

How long does it take for a piece to be made
This can vary from piece to piece - as an example, a knee length dress with minor embellishments can take up to 10 hours to complete start to finish. 

Are Luke Archer pieces handmade?
All pieces are made to the highest level of craftsmanship. To achieve this may involve an element of machine stitching, however pieces with embroidery and embellishments will be completed by hand.

Does Luke Archer outsource manufacturing?
We do not outsource our manufacturing. It is all completed in-house.

I’d like to visit the Luke Archer studio; how do I arrange this?
Unfortunately, visits to the studio are by invitation only. If you would like more information, please email studio@lukearcherstudio.com.



BESPOKE/MADE-TO-MEASURE

Does Luke Archer undertake private bespoke commissions?
We would be delighted to discuss a bespoke commission with you. Please email studio@lukearcherstudio.com with your inquiry.

What pieces can I have made-to-measure?
If you’ve seen a piece on our website that you are interested in and you would like it made-to-measure, we are able to accommodate this (subject to available fabrics/finishing’s).

What if I want a piece that’s truly bespoke, can you help?
Of course, if you have a garment design in mind and would like us to make it a reality – we can assist you on your journey for the perfect piece. Please email uk.bespoke@lukearcherstudio.com with your enquiry.  

What are your payment terms for bespoke commissions?
We require 50% upfront payment and 50% payment upon completion of the piece. Please note that the piece remains the property of Luke Archer until full payment has been received. For more information on bespoke, please visit our bespoke section.



AUTHORIZED STOCKISTS

Why is there a variation in price between the Luke Archer website and an authorized stockist?
Occasionally prices can variate due to a change in costings of fabrics and finishing’s. We are in regular communication with our authorized stockists to ensure price structure is consistent.

I’m having issues with an authorized stockist, can you help?

I have a problem with a piece purchased though one of your authorized stockists, who should I contact?

SHIPPING

How long does shipping take?
Most pieces are made-to-order. This is because we are playing our part in reducing our carbon footprint and minimizing waste within the industry. Most pieces are made within 2 working days of your order and will be posted within 3 working days. If there are any delays to your order, we will be in touch with you to provide an update.

Which courier do you use to ship your pieces?
For the UK, we post using Royal Mail Tracked 24, which is a next day service.

I’ve made a purchase but haven’t received tracking details for my order, what should I do?
Please email clientele.services@lukearcherstudio.com with your order number and we will look into this for you.

How do I return an item I’ve purchased?
Nothing is more important to Luke Archer than you being content with your purchase, but we understand that there may be times that you wish to return an item that you’ve ordered from us. If within 14 days of you receiving your order you wish to make a return, please email info@lukearcherstudio.com, We'll then reply with detail son how you may ship your purchase back to us along with a copy of the invoice and once received, we shall notify you and will refund within 10 working days to the original payment method. Buyer covers return postage costs unless otherwise agreed.

All returned items must be in perfect resale condition, if there is any damage to the item a refund will not be offered. On garments and selected accessories, Luke Archer will attach a security ribbon; please ensure that you wish to keep the item before removing the ribbon, as once removed you will be unable to return the item. For wedding dresses which have been adjusted in length and garments which have been made to specific measurements, these cannot be returned.
